Community Volunteer Work Party Events
Every Tuesday Evening in the Summer – 5:00pm-7:00pm: Sensory Garden.
August 6, Saturday- 9am-12pm: Mediterranean Garden
August 20, Saturday- 9am-12pm: Palmetum, Rhododendron, and Sensory Gardens
Special Garden Events
August 27, Saturday- noon: Master Gardeners Trial Gardens in the Edible Garden. Special talk, ”Planning and Planting a Winter Vegetable Garden.”

I’m a big fan of The Gardens too – it’s a special place in Oakland!
What are the hours of operation for Community Garden?
The gates open about 8 AM and are open until 6PM daily, except Holidays and City furlough days.
